THANK YOU FOR HELPING THE HOMELESS | RESCUE K911 | A Refuge for the Homeless
Dear Friend,
Looking back on this year of 2014,  we just had to pause and reflect.  The following is  just a few of the many things all of us here at Rescue K911... are so very thankful for...
Shawn, working at GameDay Parking in Auburn.
...Our Volunteers...
Whether they are feeding, watering, washing, walking, scooping, hugging, mending fences, or even standing along the roadside to park cars for the Auburn Football Games, our volunteers mean the world to us.  They are the glue that holds us all together. This work alone would be too much, how they join together, work so hard,  love the dogs and step in wherever needed. Special thanks to each one.
Our Community...
Special thanks to the Alex City Fire Dept who came and worked so hard for us. We also would like to thank PetCo, Walmart, Target,  Opelika High School & East Ala Food Bank who reach out and help us with food.
Our Projects...We are always growing, always expanding in an effort to make the dogs life with us better until adoption.  Special thanks to a kind lady who recently donated her jewelry that we could sell and raise enough funds to build another Pup Hut.  Thank you Patricia!
You...
We want you know how much you mean to us.  Thank you for all your love, your daily prayers and continued support to the rescued dogs in our care.  Because of you, there is food in the dogs bowls, because of you, an elderly dog named Pearl was able to have life saving surgery this past week, because of you, there is warm hay in the dog houses. We couldn't make it with out you...YOU are what we are thankful the most!
We hope and pray for you, dear friend, and yours,  a very Happy Thanksgiving this week. Thank you for helping the homeless!

Stormi
Stormi is doing well and very happy  in her new home in Florida with Granddaughter Kaylin.

We get reports and updates on Sport that he is doing well, fitting nicely into his new home.  He is greatly loved by his new family and especially his hound dog sister, Honey!
