Dear Member,
Preparations are underway for the first phase of the EBC Rooftop project, which is set to begin this September.

Work has begun along Kingsbury Street at Hubbard Street to prepare an exterior staging area that will support construction on the Sun Deck. This includes an extensive scaffolding system designed to help minimize the impact of construction activity on the member experience inside the Club.

The scaffolding will create a protected walkway along Kingsbury Street, allowing members to continue walking along the Club and access the crosswalk at Hubbard Street. A stairwell will provide construction access to the Sun Deck, and a crane on the Deck will be used to move materials. A construction chute will allow demolition debris to be moved directly from the Deck to a dumpster below. The staging area is also designed to accommodate trucks loading and unloading materials without disrupting traffic on Kingsbury Street.

Work Along Kingsbury Street Next Week

As work on the staging area continues, pedestrians along Kingsbury Street will be temporarily rerouted around the work zone this Monday, August 17, through Wednesday, August 19. Work is expected to take place primarily in the morning.

We’ll soon share more details and the timeline for the first phase of the EBC Rooftop project, including what members can expect as construction gets underway in September.
