IN MEMORIAM
Naomi Tazian


Archbishop Oshagan and the Religious and Executive Councils received the news of the passing of Mrs. Naomi Tazian of Fort Wayne, Indiana, with great sorrow. Mrs. Tazian passed away on Sunday, July 10, at age 80. She is survived by her husband Zohrab Tazian and children Tina, Sona, Ara, Hera, and four grandchildren.

She and her husband Zohrab, who were married in 1959 at St. Hagop Armenian Apostolic Church in Beirut, Lebanon, were Pillars of the Prelacy and long-time supporters of the Armenian Church and community. Mr. Tazian served on the Prelacy’s Executive Council for many years, most recently as Vice Chairman in 2011.

The Wake will take place on Thursday, July 14, from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46825.

Funeral services will be presided by His Grace Bishop Anoushavan Tanielian, Vicar General of the Prelacy, on Friday, July 15, 12 noon, at St. John Chrysostom Antiochian Orthodox Church, 402 Badiac Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46845.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Armenian Relief Society or to the Christ Child Society, and sent to the McComb Funeral Home at the address given above.

May God illuminate her soul and comfort her loved ones.
