On Sunday, May 19, NYU Shanghai’s Class of 2024 walked across the stage at the BOCOM New Bund 31 Performing Arts Center in the University’s eighth commencement ceremony. Over 400 graduating seniors (including six study away students from the New York campus) hailing from 29 countries, including 243 Chinese students from 28 provinces across China, received bachelor’s degrees from NYU and diplomas from NYU Shanghai.

On Saturday, May 18, members of the Class of 2024 met at Shanghai’s iconic Pearl Tower at dusk. Decked out in their purple graduation gowns, the class gathered below the tower and counted down to 7pm, when the tower lit up in purple in honor of NYU Shanghai. Watch the video.
