NEW: You're Invited to Submit Extemp Questions for Nationals!
Are you an Extemp enthusiast? Here’s your chance to help shape the questions for the 2025 National Tournament! Coaches, students, and alumni can submit questions for consideration. You won’t know which questions make the final cut until Nationals. If yours are selected, great! If not, your team has some strong questions you've generated to use for practice.

Please help us spread the word and encourage your students to get involved—your team's ideas can help make Extemp even better!

Teaching Advocacy to Students
Speech and debate teaches students the power of their voices and to use them to speak up for what they believe in. In these lessons, students identify an issue in their community and work in groups to develop and enact a solution. This series is part of our celebration of National Speech and Debate Education Day (this Friday!) and highlights the impact that the skills students learn in this activity can have on not only them, but the world around them. Check out an excerpt, explore the full unit, or make a plan to celebrate with your team on Friday!
