Interpretive Volunteer Updates

Dear Volunteers,
Have you stopped by the Botanical Garden's California Native Plant Garden recently? Plant Records Manager Tory Stewart shared a lovely Wednesday Wonders update last week which included the noteworthy Eschscholzia californica (California poppy) pictured above and other blooms to visit through our Education Interpretive Volunteers groups.io. Each Wednesday, Tory features different plants from the collections and shares it with this list. If you're not yet a member, I encourage you to subscribe by emailing main+subscribe@sfbgdocents.groups.io.
Subscribing to groups.io is a wonderful way to connect with fellow volunteers and is optional. Things you may see and/or post through groups.io include:
  • Requesting to trade walks/tours, or find a replacement or partner
  • Sharing interesting and relevant articles or events
  • Staying in touch with fellow volunteers regarding events and enrichments or informal walk
Please note that subscribing is a two-part process and once you email the address shared above, you will receive an email that you must respond to. For additional information regarding this groups.io, please visit this link
