Wednesday, June 10 marked 11 years Downtown Ambassador Harold Harris has been with Downtown Tucson Partnership! Each workday Harold is walking around the downtown welcoming visitors, helping those in need, providing local businesses with support and more.
After a day of roving the streets of downtown our Downtown Ambassadors report on anything they come across. Here's a report from Harold just earlier this week:
"While on patrol near Congress and Scott I witnessed a young lady fall off her bicycle into the street after turning south onto Scott and getting caught in the street car tracks, after helping her to the curb and finding her phone so she could call someone to come and get her, I told her that I would return immediately. I went back to the office and returned to the scene with a first aid kit, cleaned and bandaged up her wounds which were in the upper palm of both hands and advised her to do a better cleaning at home if she chose not to seek medical attention elsewhere, a friend then arrived and she left the area."
