IMPLEMENTING MTSS FOR LITERACY -- OSPI NEEDS TO HEAR FROM YOU!! |
The OSPI Dyslexia Advisory Team will be completing a listening tour and visiting schools throughout Washington. The purpose of the school visits is to provide the team with a clearer view of what educators and students are experiencing in relation to the implementation of ESSB 6162.
They are currently gathering information on classrooms, schools, or districts that would be interested in sharing their experience in implementing MTSS for Literacy (Dyslexia Guidance: Implementing MTSS for Literacy). If interested, please complete the survey and someone from OSPI will contact you to set up a time for further communication at a time that works best for you.
If you have additional questions, please contact our team at Dyslexia@k12.wa.us

2023 Theater Ad Programming Now Available! |
Share in the cost of advertising with other districts. Theater ads are shown on all screens in the Yakima Valley before every movie!
Last year we began working with Mercy Enterprises to produce ads that support local school district needs. As an ESD, we purchase a year long subscription which allows us the ability to create 2, 11 second ads each week. These ads are shown on all 20 screens at The Majestic and Yakima Cinema and 3 screens at the Orion Cinema.
We have only 3 programming slots remaining for districts to take part in this programming for 2023. With the purchase of each space, participating districts will receive 8 weeks (broken into 4 chunks throughout the year) of advertisements specific to their district during the yearlong contract. Each slot will cost districts $1,950. Districts can purchase more than one slot if desired.
Districts can elect to create their own ads or contract with our PR & Marketing department for this service. We estimate that it will take us anywhere from 2-3 hours to complete each ad. Districts can pay for this service in two ways, using our hourly rate of $120 or by contracting with us through our PR & Marketing Tiers of Service. Our brand level tier provides up to 5 hours of PR & Marketing support each month. Learn more about our PR & Marketing Tiers of Service online.
Weeks will be assigned by random drawing once all spaces have been claimed.
