As we move into another busy section of our winter, I want to thank all of you for your work throughout this season. The weather has proven to be a challenge all season long and has created a varied experience each and every weekend. This weekend is no different.
Our staff safety is key each and every day and going into this weekend, we ask that you continue to stay aware on the hill. Treat each run as an opportunity to reassess conditions for you and our guests. Keep hydrated, take breaks when needed, and again thank you for all you provide our guests.

| Celebrating Black History Month |
Each February, we celebrate Black History month to acknowledge, honor and celebrate the contributions and achievements of Black people in our culture and the ski and ride industry. Black History Month was created in response to a lack of coverage of Black representation in history, education and literature. This month, and every month, there are so many contributions to celebrate from Black skiers and history-makers.
The representation of Black skiers in our industry remains incredibly low – less than 2%. Organizations like The National Brotherhood of Skiers formed in 1973 following the Black Power movement to lead the industry and sport to a more inclusive future. Watch the short film, "Brotherhood of Skiing", to learn more about their history and how they are supporting the future of Black skiers.
| |
We are on a multi-year journey to address the lack of diversity in the industry and create a welcoming, inclusive, and safe experience for all.
