The entire Vanderbilt community looks forward to welcoming you to campus in less than a month! Our excitement stems not only from the joy of finally meeting you, but also from the deep sense of knowing what an important moment this is for you, as you embark on your Vanderbilt journey.
After you have concluded International Student Orientation, you will be joined by your domestic peers on Saturday, August 16, as CommonVU Orientation officially begins. To launch your CommonVU Orientation experience, your student VUceptor will join you for a special luncheon in The Commons Center Dining Hall, generously sponsored by Vanderbilt Campus Dining. You and your guests should plan to meet your VUceptor on the South Patio Lawn in front of The Commons Center before proceeding into the dining hall together.
Get ready for a mouthwatering lunch to kick off your Vanderbilt culinary adventure. Posted signage throughout the dining hall will guide you to a variety of options, including pizza and pasta, pub favorites, southern BBQ, power plant (Halal and allergen friendly), beverages, desserts and more!
