Russell Landscaping Maintenance Update
| |
Following the severe weather on July 20, GPCID’s beautification partner Russell Landscape provided additional staff for the cleanup and maintenance of our CID. Russell Landscape’s crew limbed up trees, defined and weeded landscaping beds and pruned the shrubbery along Pleasant Hill. They also removed 60 bags of debris and trash from Pleasant Hill Road, Steve Reynolds Boulevard, Old Norcross Road and Club Drive. Year-to-date, CID-funded efforts have removed 17.86 tons of trash and 874 illegal signs along the 10-miles of roadways and the two area interstate interchanges.
Later this fall, GPCID will again beautify the area with new plants, mulch and other landscaping enhancements in time for the upcoming holiday shopping season. These significant improvements would continue to beautify our CID along our main thoroughfares.
