BYM Spiritual Formation From Home Starts
The Spiritual Formation Working Group is pleased to continue offering a year-long, Zoom-based Spiritual Formation experience that connects us across (and even beyond!) our Yearly Meeting. The program is open to all Friends seeking the fellowship of community—and the listening and sharing about our spiritual journeys—that the program fosters. This is one of the ways our program supports personal spiritual deepening in, with, and for community. The group will met on 3rd Mondays starting in October. Registration is kindly requested ASAP.

| Upcoming Events at Friends Wilderness Center
Friends Wilderness Center, one of our partners in mutual flourishing at the Rolling Ridge Conservancy in Harper's Ferry, invites BYM Friends to upcoming Fall Events. FWC is happy to arrange overnight stays for individual or groups interested in participating or even just visiting!

Friends in the wider DC area who are interested in activism are warmly invited to a potluck at Friends Meeting of Washington at 6:30 PM on Sunday, October 5. It will be an opportunity to meet and greet each other, and then to talk about how we as individuals and communities are participating in the resistance, and how we might strengthen each other‘s efforts, as we are led. Please let members of your meeting know about this invitation. All are warmly welcomed.

| Busy, Beautiful Season at BYM
Last weekend BYM hosted our annual fall spiritual formation retreat. This weekend, Young Friends will gather for their September YF Con and more than 100 BYM Friends will gather at Opequon Quaker Camp for the return of Family Camp! Coming right up in October are our fall camp workdays. Most BYM staff will be taking Mon, Sep 29 off to tend to family and personal needs in this season of busy, beautiful weekends.
