WHAT HAPPENED LAST NIGHT?
- Last night was very peaceful and no new damage was reported or observed
WHAT TO EXPECT TONIGHT (JUNE 1):
- No street closures are planned*
- There is no intel suggesting that protests will occur this evening
- Increased Tucson Police Department (TPD) presence throughout the evening
- TPD will not stop vehicles as long as motorists are abiding by local traffic laws
- TPD will be educating and warning people about the details of the curfew
- TPD will not interfere with patrons going to downtown businesses
- Downtown Tucson Partnership (DTP) continues to communicate with property owners and businesses. Updates are being sent in real time via email
- DTP Safety & Maintenance Ambassadors continue to work 24/7
RECOMMENDATIONS:
- If you see people picking up items or damaging properties, call 911 immediately
- If you observe or are a victim of property damage or violence contact 911 immediately
- Continue to store all outdoor furnishings indoors including but not limited to: benches, planters, A-frame signage, umbrellas, tables, chairs (anything movable)
- Curfew hours run from 8 p.m. through 5 a.m. through Monday, June 8, 2020

- Broken Windows: Board up your broken windows and replace as soon as possible
