George Safy was a civil engineering major from Kingsport, Tennessee.  He played in the band and was a member of the campus chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers.  Safy left Clemson after his junior year.

The Clemson University Organic Plant Breeding Institute continues its “Going Organic” webinar series to teach growers how to produce nutritional legumes and save money. The free webinars will be held monthly through May 2026.
