This prestigious award is the highest honor that the Alumni Association can bestow upon an alumnus or alumna and is given to those who have not only devoted their life to professionalism and public service, but who have also demonstrated a lifelong dedication to Clemson University.

Andrew Zabierek’s name is chiseled in stone in the shadow of Memorial Stadium. It rests permanently among the names of the other 497 known Clemson University alumni who made the ultimate sacrifice.

When students in Michele Cauley’s social media marketing course at Clemson University were asked to help develop a marketing strategy for a new app, they weren’t handed a polished product. They were handed something unfinished.

Clemson has partnered with the Upcountry History Museum on an exhibition celebrating the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution. Items on loan from Historic Properties include a saber used by Gen. Andrew Pickens and a chair used by George Washington.

The war in Europe had ended nine days earlier, but Thursday May 17, 1945, was just another day of war in the ironically named Pacific Theater. 

Student entrepreneur Lukas Garcia has been named one of 10 national winners in the America250 America’s Startup competition. Garcia’s national recognition reflects Clemson’s commitment to creating opportunities for students to turn research, creativity and bold ideas into real-world impact.

Clemson Corps is hosting a Memorial Day ceremony on Clemson's main campus from 4-5 p.m. on Sunday, May 24. The ceremony remembers the 498 fallen Clemson alumni who have given their lives in service to our nation. The ceremony is open to the public and takes place at the Scroll of Honor Memorial.
