🥗 Did someone say lunch?

As a thank you for all of your efforts during Open Enrollment, lunch will be provided for the department today! Today is the last day of Open Enrollment, and there will be Enrollment Assistance taking place in conference room 200 all day, 8am - 5pm, as we have our final push to get employees enrolled in their benefits. There is soup, salad, pasta and breadsticks from Olive Garden in the breakroom.

A big thank you to everyone who showed up in costume on Monday, as well as the bystanders who came to enjoy the fun. After tallying all the votes, congratulations to our winners:

Hilary was asking me to double check something for someone she spent 20 minutes on the phone with for OE. Bless him (and her truly), as he was struggling. The point being that was awesome of her. I know OE is a beast for those who don't live in the benefits world, and she went above and beyond.

I wanted to share my positive experience with one of your associates, Farida Suhardjo.I reached out to askhr@nd.edu this morning for assistance in certifying my former employment at ND as part of my application to the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program under the temporary waiver. Because I had dropped the ball and made this request the day the form was due, I anticipated having to submit a partial application and following up for a signature from ND in the coming weeks. I was thrilled to receive an email from Farida within hours of my request!

I am incredibly grateful for Farida's assistance, particularly as I am no longer an ND employee. It was a wonderful reminder of how lucky I am to have worked at Notre Dame, and I wanted to pass along my thanks to your team!
