Greetings Ward 12
It is my privilege to be the elected TDSB Trustee for Ward 12, Willowdale. My role is to advocate for you and your child, and to represent the needs of all students and parents/guardians/caregivers across the Toronto District School Board.
On the TDSB website, and on this page, you can stay informed on what’s happening at the Board, including policies under review, program updates, and discussions around new initiatives to improve student success. You can also learn more about ways you can get involved and participate in the education process, like attending Board meetings or checking out volunteer opportunities.
Education is a shared responsibility, and I welcome and encourage your participation in our public school system.
Central Student Interest Programs
The TDSB offers Central Student Interest Programs that are focused on the Arts, Math, Science & Technology, Leadership and more! All students who have an interest and passion for a particular area may apply to the centralized schools and programs. The online application is open from November 7 to November 25 at 4 p.m. and students can apply to up to two (2) centralized programs or schools. Where the number of applicants exceed the number of spaces available in a program, all eligible applicants will be included in the random selection process, which will occur centrally. On December 8, 2022, acceptances and waitlist status will be sent via email, to all applicants. Offers expire December 14, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. If you do not accept your placement by the deadline, the placement will be automatically declined. On December 15, 2022, second round of acceptances and waitlist status will be sent via email, to all applicants. Offers expire December 21, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. If you do not accept your placement by the deadline, the placement will be automatically declined.
