A recent study revealed that CSU provides a $3 billion economic lift to the Northeast Ohio region and the state of Ohio as a whole, supporting over 36,000 jobs in the region, with one out of every 63 jobs in Northeast Ohio.

University Ranked One of the Best Colleges for Adult Learning

It can be tricky when deciding to return to college after being out for an extended period. Still, a recent accolade was bestowed upon CSU when it was ranked as one of just 13 colleges in Ohio to receive the honor of “best colleges for adult learning” by Abound Finish College, scoring high on a metrics system they call “the Four A’s.”

Next In-Person Courageous Conversation Centered Around Juneteenth – The Cookout

The next courageous conversation will occur in person on Friday, June 16, from 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. in the Student Center, rooms 313–315. CSU partners and community members will engage in a dialogue focusing on financial literacy, art, music, and health within the African American community. A family-style cookout will follow, with food, games, and a DJ!

Dental health is an essential part of your overall health and well-being. Gum disease and poor dental hygiene can lead to an increased risk of heart disease. As a rule of thumb, you should see your dentist every six months for a preventive exam.
Not only will you have a healthy smile, but you will receive five VikeHealth and Well-Being Wellness Points to go towards the goal of 100 points for each exam.

HR PeopleSoft Hiring Freeze
|
As part of back-end systems and operations work required to complete the CSU 2.0 college realignment process, a PeopleSoft data freeze will go into effect from June 19 to July 7. During that time, Human Resources will be unable to make changes in the PeopleSoft HR system, so no hiring or data entry may be made during that time. The freeze will provide the team tasked with updating the chart of accounts enough time to test and make any necessary adjustments.
