Keeping Gwinnett Place Clean, Safe and Well-Maintained |
Since 2007, CID-funded crews have removed more than 523 tons of debris (or equal to 87 Asian elephants) and 25,000+ illegal signs from the Gwinnett Place district. In addition to routine maintenance, these efforts have helped repair more than 300 damaged street signs, lights and signals — contributing to a cleaner, safer and more attractive environment for businesses, residents and visitors.
In 2024, the Gwinnett Place CID removed over 33 tons of trash and more than 2,100 illegal signs from area roadways, and as of July 31, 2025, CID-funded beautification efforts have already removed 22.43 tons of trash and 832 illegal signs. In that same time period, 109 street and parking lot lights and 25 street signs have been reported and repaired. Crews have also returned 273 shopping carts to local stores — saving area businesses almost $60,000 in replacement costs.
Clean, connected and constantly improving— the Gwinnett Place way.

GPCID Supports Gwinnett Safe Communities Initiative |
The Gwinnett Place CID is proud to partner in Gwinnett Safe Communities, a new initiative led by the Gwinnett County Police Department aimed at enhancing public safety and emergency response capabilities across the county.
This innovative program enables businesses to link their security camera feeds to law enforcement through a FususCORE video gateway, giving first responders real-time access when it matters most. To support local participation, the Gwinnett Place CID is offering a reimbursement grant covering installation costs and the first year’s subscription for one FususCORE Lite bundle, which supports up to four camera feeds.
This collaboration marks a meaningful investment in the safety and resilience of the Gwinnett Place business district and the broader community.
