“Protest to Progress” Unveiling February 1
|
Cleveland State University’s Protest to Progress: 60 Years of Cleveland State and Civil Rights—a powerful reflection on the history of CSU set against the backdrop of the American civil rights movement in the city of Cleveland—is located in the first-floor atrium of CSU’s Berkman Hall—home to the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Honors College. The exhibit will officially open for public viewing on February 1 at 3:30 p.m. and remain open through the remainder of Black History Month.

Dr. Michael Schwartz Celebration of Life on February 8

Dr. Michael Schwartz, CSU President Emeritus, passed away on January 2 at the age of 86. Dr. Schwartz served as the CSU’s fifth president from 2001 until 2009 and will be honored February 8 in a public ceremony co-hosted by CSU and Kent State University.
