More than a dozen events honoring the legacy of St. Clare and St. Francis of Assisi — the latter being the College’s namesake — are scheduled as part of the monthlong celebration, which kicks off next week, on Monday, September 30, with a Peace Run.

| Earn Badges During Franciscan Month
Students who participate in Franciscan Month events and activities will have the opportunity to earn up to four badges (you must attend at least one designated event or activity per week to earn that week's badge), plus a bonus GOLD badge for earning all four weekly badges. Those who attend six to eight events or activities throughout Franciscan Month will be eligible to receive a pendant (see image at left) commemorating this year's theme of "peace"; only the top seven students will receive this keepsake. | "Rhapsody and Redolence" Opening Soon
The latest exhibition in the SFC Art Gallery opens tomorrow. "Rhapsody and Redolence: The Crystal Decade" features the work of artist Carol Scott and author Caitlin Smith Gilson '03, an SFC alumna. Please join us at one or more of these related events happening this week:
