Dear Coach,
The countdown is officially on for the 2017 National Tournament. Check out the latest tournament updates, deadlines, and training tools below. We can't wait to see you in Birmingham!
AT THE TOURNAMENT
Diamond Awards and Four-Time Qualifiers » We're mixing up the Thursday schedule this year! Coaches receiving their first or second Diamond award and students who are four-time qualifiers will be recognized on stage BEFORE the Donus D. Roberts Diamond Assembly on Thursday, June 22. If this applies to you, you'll receive an email with more info soon!
Tournament Lunches » Our pre-purchased meal tickets are the easiest and most convenient way to plan for lunch at the tournament! Tickets are good for lunches provided on-site at the competition for coaches and students. Meals will vary by location and day, but will include a main entree and number of sides and/or dessert. You have a choice of a meat-based or vegetarian meal to fuel up for competition. High school coaches can select their options in the "Meals" tab of National Tournament Registration in the Points App and middle school coaches can sign up for meals when registering on Tabroom. Meal selections and payment are due May 12
REGISTRATION & PREP
Entry Drops » If you have already accepted a student and they are no longer able to attend, you must complete the Qualification Relinquishment Form to officially drop the student. Please email your completed form to info@speechanddebate.org with "Relinquishment" in the subject line as soon as possible to allow us to notify alternates.
Uploading Your Forms » Don't forget, to upload your Participant Release Forms and Entry Confirmations in the Points App! Rather than mailing your forms in, click into the National Tournament banner and submit your forms for review through the "Status Tab." The deadline for these items was May 1, so please upload your documents ASAP to hold your place in the tournament.
Note: The May 1 deadline does not apply to alternates that have been moved up to qualifiers.

Middle School Nationals » If you've entered the Middle School National Tournament but haven't paid your entry fees, you are not yet officially registered for the tournament. Entries are put on a waitlist and will be moved off the waitlist and officially registered once payment is received. All payments are due by May 12. Some events have already filled, so please pay ASAP to reserve your place!
