Conklin ’92 has made a pivotal ONE Clemson Cornerstone gift to Clemson University, advancing key priorities across athletics, alumni engagement and student success. 

For four Clemson University undergraduate students, hands-on learning meant traveling to Norway to send their own scientific instrument into space on a NASA-sponsored sounding rocket mission.

The Pursuit — a multi-day philanthropic event open to all — is emerging as one of Clemson’s most unique and engaging traditions.

Edward T. O’Cain never fulfilled his dream of attending Clemson but sacrificed mightily so that his son could. Jeff O’Cain ’69 has memorialized his father’s sacrifice with a treasured donation to the University.

Bombardier

Robert Coltrane was the bombardier on a B-17F heavy bomber nicknamed Hunga Dunga, piloted by First Lieutenant Charles Austin. On March 18, 1943, Coltrane, Austin, and their crew were alerted for a mission to Vegesack, Germany to attack the U-boat construction facilities there. 

Clemson alumnus Dave Steele spent many hours in Cooper Library as a student. He wasn’t always there to study, though — Steele was a student employee. Now Steele and his wife, Lisa, are giving back so that today’s students can benefit from working for the Libraries. 

Greenville County Animal Care and the Greenville Humane Society teamed up this past weekend to help the feral cat population in the upstate and beyond! The two clinics hosted a free feral cat spay/neuter event, and the faculty and staff at the Harvey S. Peeler Jr. College of Veterinary Medicine were happy to volunteer.
