Explore Your Pay with Model My Pay |
Active employees with at least one payslip can now run simulations to see the estimated impact on their future payslips by adjusting their earnings, deductions and tax elections. Model My Pay provides approximation only and does not impact your actual pay.
Access Model My Pay in Workday via the search box, the Pay app on your home page or directly from your payslip. An instructional video is available in Workday Services.

Texas A&M University hired more than 1,400 employees in August, and Human Resources and Organizational Effectiveness (HROE) welcomed them at New Employee Orientation. This Day 1 program ensures that employees start their careers seamlessly by partnering with HROE professionals to complete new employee documentation, enroll in insurance and retirement options, and get accurately added to payroll. Registration Open for Fall Retirement Planning Event |
Benefit and Retirement Services will host a retirement planning event on Tuesday, Nov. 5 for employees enrolled in the Optional Retirement Program (ORP) or the Teacher Retirement System (TRS). The event will take place in Room 101 of the General Services Complex on our main campus. The ORP session is scheduled from 8-9:15 a.m., followed by the TRS session from 9:30-11:15 a.m. Join us to learn more about your retirement options.

AI Playground Returns This Fall |
The AI Playground is back! Starting this Friday, Sept. 20, staff and faculty are invited to bring their devices and explore creative ways to use AI for planning fun fall activities and other projects. Join the CTE team in Blocker 232 on our main campus at 10 a.m. on the third Friday of each month.

Texas A&M introduced Family Leave Pool to assist faculty and staff with serious health conditions who do not have the 80 hours of leave required to qualify for Sick Leave Pool. With a starting balance of zero hours in the Family Leave Pool, retiring or resigning employees are encouraged to consider donating all or part of their sick leave hours to the Family Leave Pool.

The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents released the FY25 holiday schedule. Some campuses and teaching sites, including Texas A&M University at Qatar, Texas A&M University School of Dentistry and Texas A&M University School of Law, may have different holiday schedules. For additional information regarding holiday schedules, holiday pay eligibility and more, please review the details shared on the holiday webpage.

Baylor Scott & White and BlueCross BlueShield of Texas (BCBSTX) are still currently in contract negotiations. A contract extension is in place until Oct. 1, 2024, meaning Baylor Scott & White providers, hospitals and other facilities will remain in-network for BCBSTX members until Oct. 1, unless new agreements are reached ahead of that date.
