Life in the Time of COVID-19

As we all continue to shift in the present reality of COVID-19 stay at home orders and social distancing, I would like to offer a bit of humor in the midst of it all... Here's to hoping that none of us earn the title of "Social Distancing World Champion" as it looks below! 
On a more serious note, during this difficult time, we in the CSLC send our love and support to all GVSU students who are regrouping and working through this challenging time of transition and uncertainty, and to GVSU staff and faculty who are working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that our students are engaged, receiving high quality learning and cared for. We will all be together again. In the meantime, please take a few moments to explore a few exciting opportunities below and to celebrate the resillience and creativity of one of our favorite student organizations on campus, Colleges Against Cancer!

Campus Vote Project

Democracy Fellows at GVSU


Are you passionate about increasing student civic and democratic engagement and making the world a more just and equitable place for all?

The CSLC is currently seeking applicants for (2) Campus Vote Project Democracy Fellowships at GVSU. You will work with campus and community partners and student leaders to educate, empower and mobilize student voters and take part in professional development and learning activities. The ideal student will be passionate, highly organized, self-directed, results-oriented, and able to communicate effectively.

We are seeking (2) CVP Fellows to begin during Spring / Summer semester for on-boarding and to continue on through Fall and Winter semesters. 10-12 hours / week; $500 stipend at the end of each semester for work completed.
