Nominations for Partnership Gwinnett’s Metro Atlanta Redevelopment Summit (MARS) are now open! GPCID is a proud sponsor of this event, which also will take place at the Gwinnett Place Studio Movie Grill! Did you know this venue is an adaptive re-use project converted from a former Circuit City? We are proud to have successful examples of redevelopment in our district and are excited to be part of this event.
The MARS awards are divided into three categories depending on the project’s size: Small, Medium, or Large. A fourth award, the Redevelopment Champion Award, is designed for individuals who have contributed to meaningful redevelopment projects in the metro Atlanta area through their leadership and vision.

GPCID Partners with Community Leaders for Create Gwinnett
Come help us create Gwinnett! GPCID has partnered with other community leaders in the county for the creation of our Gwinnett Arts & Creative Economy Master Plan. This is the first comprehensive plan for the County to grow creatively and support arts and culture to prosper.

In addition to supporting the County’s existing creative community, Create Gwinnett will support job creation, talent development and creative enterprise inventory. It will also set a precedent for developing policies for funding, identifying and creating an inventory of current resources, developing priorities for future projects and encouraging a sense of community between residents and stakeholders.

In order to make this initiative a success, we ask for your participation. In addition to Create Gwinnett’s public launch on July 11, community members can participate by taking an online survey that will be incorporated into an overall plan.
