Club Leader Updates 

September 26, 2024

Oct. 16th General Leaders Meeting - 6pm - 8pm. Washington County Fair Park Pavilion (held during Youth Club Officer Training*). All Club Leaders, Co-Leaders, and Countywide Project Leaders encouraged to attend. A general welcome to all Adult Leaders and youth officers will take place before splitting off, with youth attending breakout sessions while the Club & Countywide Project Leaders meeting takes place. *Youth Club Officer Training on Oct. 16th - All of the county's club youth officers are invited to join us for fun while learning about being a club officer. Youth will have break-out rooms by officer positions to learn about their specific roles. Snacks will be provided. 

• 5:45 - 6:00 p.m. - Sign-In and Materials Pick-Up
• 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Training

Holiday Inn Conference Center, Stevens Point, WI. Fall Forum is a conference for youth and adult leaders to attend the statewide training weekend with county and state staff. Fun, skill-building workshops will give you tools  to take back that promote to youth and adult leaders in your club.  There is a good presence of Washington County youth and adults already registered. Funding to help cover costs is available through the Wash. Co. Leaders Association.

Club leaders are invited to pick up and distribute their club's record books after  October 26. The committee asks that if you pick up your record books earlier, to please wait until after Oct 26th to return them back to your club members. A reminder to call - or email - the Extension office to arrange an appointment in advance of stopping in.
