A Message From Our Interim CEO

Daria Cervantes is serving as interim CEO of The Arc Montgomery County, following the departure of Chrissy Shawver.  Daria has over 30 years of experience with the organization and has been Chief Operating Office for almost three years.
Daria shares, “Although times are uncertain in the world, the Leadership Team and I are committed to keeping The Arc moving as seamlessly as possible. We remain committed to the mission, to the people we support and their families, and to our employees.  With this in mind, we have scheduled Zoom meetings for each of these groups so they can hear from me directly and have questions and concerns addressed.  We will also share updates as new information becomes available over the coming months.  Thank you for your patience and ongoing support!”

Celebrating Our Direct Support Professionals

Direct Support Professional Recognition Week is September 13-19. Join us in thanking our staff for their extraordinary service, especially in challenging times. Through their dedication, compassion, and positive energy, they change lives and build stronger communities.
