Message from the Associate Dean and Extension Director The Cooperative Extension System (CES) is a very diverse organization in terms of programs and we are widely dispersed across all parts of Arizona. The CES programs connect to every academic unit on campus, every county Extension office, and each of our experiment station units.
The CES is one of the three fundamental pillars in the Division of Agricultural, Life, and Veterinary Sciences & Cooperative Extension; along with the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the new College of Veterinary Medicine.
We are planning to hold an Extension Conference in Tucson on 6-7 August 2019. The 2018 planning committee consisted of volunteers who did an outstanding job of developing an excellent conference program.
We are now soliciting volunteers from anyone in the CES, faculty or staff, to serve on the 2019 Extension Conference Planning Committee. Please communicate your interest in serving on this planning committee to Kristie Gallardo (gallardo@cals.arizona.edu).
We look forward to working with you on the development of a great Extension Conference for 2019.

| Did you know? Did you know Arizona Cooperative Extension has a site dedicated to Extension personnel with information and resources to some common questions and inquiries? Launched last year, Arizona Cooperative Extension Knowledgebase has been the home of policies and procedures, how-to articles, team spaces, and frequently-asked questions from within Extension. And now, with contributors to the site in almost every county, we have grown our content considerably, with more coming.
Be sure to check it out and let us know what other information you’d like to see in this platform, which focuses on Extension personnel, resources, and internal communications.
NOTE: Access to the site is given to anyone with an Extension appointment and who is accessing from a UA Network or through VPN. If you meet these criteria and are unable to get in, reach out to drodriguez1@email.arizona.edu.
