Thank you to our Safety & Maintenance Ambassadors
During these difficult times, it is the frontline workers who keep Downtown Tucson clean, safe and beautiful. The work these people do is difficult but essential, so we offer them a heartfelt thank you as they shoulder a heroic burden. We appreciate our Maintenance Ambassadors for picking up trash, wiping down benches, bike racks and other high-contact surfaces in our public spaces. We take comfort in knowing that our Safety Ambassadors continue to keep a watchful eye on downtown properties and public spaces, reminding visitors to practice social distancing, and imparting a sense of calm. We rely on our partners with disabilities, Desert Survivors to maintain over 200 city planters and keep our streetscapes and storefronts colorful and bursting with life.
