Clemson Alumni Association Adds Five New Board Members

Five new board members have been selected to serve three-year terms on the Clemson Alumni Association (CAA) board of directors. The alumni board is the governing body for the CAA. Primary responsibilities of the board include general oversight of the programs and initiatives of the Clemson Alumni Association, financial audit and review, creation of governing policies and strategic planning. Their terms began July 1.

South Carolina's Palmetto Leadership Program for the Environment, Agriculture and Forestry (PLEAF) is a two-year intensive academic, experiential learning and networking curriculum designed to facilitate personal and professional growth and success while sharpening character and leadership skills for each participant.

Canon Solutions America, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., Inc., joined forces with the Clemson University Department of Graphic Communications to establish an inaugural scholarship complementing the University Inkjet Program (UIP) established in 2019 as part of the curriculum for graphic communications.

On July 1, new members Noel M. Geoffroy, Ernest D. Haynes III and Mark Wasserman began four-year terms on the Clemson University Foundation (CUF) board of directors. They were elected by unanimous vote of the board, having been nominated by alumni and friends and reviewed by a nominating committee of the board.
