| A Celebration of Library Heroes |
To celebrate all that we do, we will be honoring one person and one non-profit organization at our second annual Celebration of Library Heroes event on Thursday, November 7. Judy Brown, and The United Way of the Bradford Area are this year’s honorees. Join us as we recognize their meaningful contributions to our community library. Tickets are $50 and include a buffet-style dinner at the Bradford Club. Doors open at 5:30 PM for a social hour, followed by dinner and the awards ceremony rounding out the evening. | In observance of Thanksgiving, we will be closed on Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29.
We will also be closing at 4PM on Thursday, November 7 to allow staff time to set up for our BAPL Gala ~ A Celebration of Library Heroes event.

Silent Book Club: Saturday, November 2 at 10:30 AM. New members are always welcome. No assigned reading. Read what you enjoy.
- Copy Cat: Wednesday, November 13 at 6 PM. This is a monthly crafting program for adults. We explore a new project each month. Registration is necessary.

Fiber Arts Group: Thursdays from 1 - 3 PM. You name it, they can do it! Hobbyists knit, crochet, embroider, cross stitch, etc. They share stories and patterns, and discover new techniques. All are welcome.

Open Book Club: Saturday, November 23 at 9:45 AM. Open Book Club has a special date and time for November, as the group will be traveling to the WWII Museum in Eldred, PA. Members will meet at the Bradford Mall parking lot.
- Trivia: Tuesday, November 19 at 6 PM. Let's test our knowledge of everything during our next Trivia Night! Enjoy the challenge with your team (4 ppl. max.) or play individually.
- Adult Lego Challenge: Wednesday, November 20 at 6PM. Whether you're rediscovering a childhood passion as an adult or diving in for the first time, experience the fun of this hobby. Registration is necessary.

Attendees will gain health and energy by balancing their microbiome! Learn how gut health can be impacted by the food that is eaten and get some free gut-friendly recipes too!

Bradford native and Pitt-Bradford alumnus, Daniel Picklo will discuss his debut novel, The Dead Don't Forgive on Saturday, November 9 at 6PM.
"Samuel Stratton, running from the past and the death of his wife, finds himself hiding from the world. And the nightmares that plague his sleep."
Learn how Daniel's personal experiences influenced the writing of his first psychological thriller and other discoveries he made while on this journey. Light refreshments and a book signing will follow the visit, with a few copies being available for purchase.

Culture of Indigenous People |
Join the mother - son team of Brenda and Lance White Eagle on Saturday, November 16 for an informative and engaging program, The Culture of Indigenous People.
Brenda and Lance are of the Western Band of Cherokee and the Rappahanock peoples. As a performer, specializing in Indigenous American history, culture and legends, Lance has been featured at various events, colleges, pow-wows, and news programs across the country.
He has been bringing his unique blend of history and humor to audiences since the 90’s, but his family has been educating communities about the Indigenous people for over 80 years. His mother has been a featured lecturer and guest professor on Indigenous women and agriculture.

Middle Ground Book Club: Thursday, November 14 at 5 PM. The Middle Ground Book Club is open to all local tweens in grades 5 - 8. Enjoy free books and pizza during all meetings. Members are discussing The Last Fallen Star, by Graci Kim this month.

Teen Book Club: Tuesday, November 19 at 5 PM. Members are discussing Spice Road, by Maiya Ibrahim in November. Teen Book Club is open to any local teen in grades 9 - 12. Enjoy free books and pizza at every meeting.

Teen Lounge: Wednesdays from 3 - 5 PM. Come chill at the library! Area tweens and teens (grades 7-12) have a place of their own to drop by every Wednesday. Spend time with friends, enjoy free snacks, unwind with a craft or game, and more!

Little Learners: Mondays & Fridays at 11 AM. Little Learners is a fun-filled program for 0-5 year old children and their parents or caregivers.
- Lego Club: first Tuesday of each month from 5-6PM. Participants will receive a building prompt this month.

Book to Movie Club: Mondays at 5 PM. Local students in grades 3 - 5, are welcome to attend every Monday from 5 - 5:45 PM while we read a few chapters from a great children’s book.
- Bookworms: Wednesdays at 5 PM. We have a book club for kiddos in grades K - 2! Join the fun as we enjoy the Magic Treehouse series.

Bedtime Stories: Second Wednesday at 6:30 PM. Children are invited to attend in their PJs as they listen to a story, enjoy a bedtime snack, and engage in a calming activity. Registration is necessary.

Bring the kiddos to our Thankfulness Teddy Bear Sleepover on Friday, October 15 (6 - 7:30PM)! Enjoy some gratitude games, crafts, and other activities with your favorite stuffed animal. Attendees can wear their PJs to this fun-filled evening! Registration is necessary for this free program.

The Children's Department invites all children in grades K (with an adult who can assist them) - 5th for Countdown to Christmas on Saturday, November 30 at 11AM. Enjoy a great Christmas book, and create a Christmas countdown chain to take home! We will have a cocoa bar, hot chocolate, and Christmas songs to complete this fun event. Registration is necessary for this free program. Special note to parents: only register the children attending. Parents do not need to register themselves.
