RTSWS at Harvard IBC 2024 & Celebrating Day of the Girl

RTSWS had the privilege of participating in the 20th Annual Intercollegiate Business Convention (IBC) and Career Fair hosted by Harvard University Undergraduate Women in Business. The event brought together over 500 aspiring women leaders from across the nation for a day filled with inspiration, networking, and career-building opportunities.

Our CEO, Ashley Leftwich, proudly represented RTSWS at the Career Fair, where she delivered remarks and connected with future leaders in business and finance. The fair provided a unique platform for our organization to share the mission of RTSWS and engage with young women pursuing careers in finance.

One of the highlights of the event was the participation of our Founder, Maura Cunningham, in the Finance and STEM panel. Maura shared her remarkable journey in founding RTSWS and emphasized the importance of fostering diversity in the financial industry. Her story continues to inspire young women to break barriers and make an impact in traditionally male-dominated fields.

Through RTSWS’s Alumnae & Career Center, we are committed to empowering young women in finance by providing industry internships, entry-level positions, and professional development sessions. With over 100 financial firms partnered with RTSWS, we continue to open doors for the next generation of women in finance. Our corporate partners also contribute by offering valuable networking opportunities and mentorship.

We look forward to continuing our mission to empower and educate young women in finance and are grateful to Harvard University Undergraduate Women in Business for the opportunity to be a part of such an impactful event.

RTSWS had the privilege of joining Dr. Julia Hart's Women in Finance Academy at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. RTSWS Board Member, Tricia Rothchild, shared insights from her distinguished career and led a lively Q&A session with 30 students, offering guidance on thriving in finance and fintech.

Christina Deaux, RTSWS team member, introduced the benefits of the RTSWS Alumnae & Career Center, highlighting the importance of building networks and leveraging community engagement to increase access to industry opportunities.
