New Faculty Search Waiver

Policy & Process

The Office of Academic Affairs & Provost has finalized a Search Waiver Policy for Faculty Appointments, which outlines the condititions under which a search waiver may be appropriate for faculty or postdoctoral hires. When requesting to waive a faculty or postdoctoral search, the steps in Interfolio change as follows:

Complete the Faculty Search Waiver Justification Form and upload it to your position in place of the Faculty Recruitment Action Plan (FRAP).
Add " - SEARCH WAIVER" to the end of the position title (ex: Assistant Professor, Economics, Tenure Track - SEARCH WAIVER). This ensures the position is not published by external job sites.
