SYMPOSIUM ON TICK-BORNE DISEASES
Researchers and clinicians from the Renaissance School of Medicine and Stony Brook Southampton Hospital cover recent advances in research on tick-borne illnesses, including infections common on Long Island and the Alpha-gal meat allergy, and showcases the resources Stony Brook provides to keep our community informed about tick-transmitted diseases. COMMUNIVERSITY DAY 2026
This annual, festival-style event is free and open to the public and will be held from 12 - 4 pm on the Academic Mall Saturday, September 26, with an indoor rain plan for the same day in the Stony Brook Arena. We encourage the entire Stony Brook community to consider hosting an activity this year by completing this event participation form.
