Named after the steel-driving folk hero of the railroads,
John Henry's Bar is the latest watering hole to open up downtown, ironically right next to our very own railroad tracks on North Sixth. Experienced Tucson tavern titan Brenndon Scott (co-owner of Bashful Bandit and The Boxyard) set out to give John Henry's a sense of friendly coziness, akin to a neighborhood lounge or dive, while also displaying artistic class with murals done by local artist Jessica Gonzales. Enjoy selections of their signature cocktails, ten draft beers, and much more as veteran bartenders put their years of mixology into fun drinks that are unique, but familiar! John Henry's is open 4:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m. daily at 117 N. 6th Avenue. Experience their daily happy hour 4:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. featuring $4 beers, $5 glasses of wine, $3 wells, and upscale cocktail of the day. Follow them on
