As we kick off Fall 2025, we’re excited to introduce this year’s Service-Learning annual theme: Being Rather Than Seeming (Esse Quam Videri), North Carolina’s state motto.
Authentic engagement is at the heart of service-learning—it’s about real connections, steady contributions, and the kind of presence and care that build trust and change. This year, we’ll explore together what it means to truly be engaged across our courses, partnerships, and events.
👉 We’re kicking off with a Community Action Day (details below), with more theme-aligned events to come—follow along on Instagram and Facebook to stay in the loop.
