Message from the Interim Director of Extension
This week I visited the Maricopa County Master Gardener plant sale in Phoenix. It was good to hear that the sales were going great and everyone was enjoying themselves. Congratulations to the MG team in Maricopa and thank you to all the MG volunteers who helped make the plant sale such a great success. Also, I want to once again ask that everyone work to get our Needs Survey filled out so we can better understand the issues facing our stakeholders. We have about 1400 surveys completed, but we need much more. The link to the survey page is https://norton.arizona.edu/uace-needs-assessment-2022. Please continue to work with your stakeholders and get this survey filled out.

2022 Statewide Needs Assessment Survey Deadline Extended!
Thanks to everyone for your distribution efforts- we are about a third of the way to our statewide goal of 4,080 surveys! To give folks the chance to continue to get input from stakeholders, we are extending the deadline by 2 weeks. The new deadline for data collection is Monday, November 14, 2022. Please have paper surveys uploaded or mailed to CRED by 21 November so that those can be entered, too.
You can continue to follow data collection (at the state and county-levels) in real time using this auto-updating link: https://bit.ly/uace2022results.
Remember, if you have questions, challenges, or tips to share about the survey distribution process, you can join us on Wednesdays anytime between 1-2pm for virtual office hours (https://arizona.zoom.us/j/5206218739), or reach out to CRED by email (cred@arizona.edu).
Please note that we are continually updating the FAQ sheet when we receive questions/comments and will continue to drop new resources into your Box folders as they are created or shared with us. Other links, resources, and updates may be found on the CRED Needs Assessment website: https://norton.arizona.edu/uace-needs-assessment-2022. Reminder: The survey will remain open until November 14.
