Oscar-nominee Colin Farrell is using his star power to bring attention to people with intellectual disabilities. He is launching the Colin Farrell Foundation providing support for adults who have intellectual disabilities through advocacy, education, and programs. Farrell's 20-year-old son James has Angelman syndrome, a neurogenetic disorder. Farrell tells PEOPLE, "Once your child turns 21, they're kind of on their own...all the safeguards that are put in place...that all goes away."
