Concerto Competition: Enter one of our concerto competitions. You could win the chance to perform a concerto or showpiece with orchestra! 
Chamber Music Workshops: RSVP today to ensure your spot - seating is limited, and attendance at either a workshop or a masterclass is mandatory if you would like to be considered for a summer scholarship.
JCMSSA: The first concert of the season will be on December 27th.
SAVE THE DATE!: Our annual Faculty Concert will be on January 31, 2015 (7:00 p.m.) at Irvine Valley College Performing Arts Center. Come and enjoy an evening of chamber music featuring JCM coaches and Debut Artists, the Vorpal Trio.

CONCERTO COMPETITIONS
The JCM-AVSOMC Concerto Competition (open to LA & CV/SF students) will take place in early February. The winner will perform his or her piece with the Antelope Valley Symphony Orchestra on March 28, 2015.

The JCM-CAPMT OC Symphony Competition (open to OC & IE students) will be held on April 18, 2015. The Grand Prize and First Place winners will perform with the Orange County Symphony.

CHAMBER MUSIC WORKSHOPS
LA's first chamber music workshop of the season was a huge success! Mark Richman worked with piano duo: Yoko Rosenbaum and Nicholas Mendez, and with string trio: Maeve Schallert, violin; Mackenzie Mendez, guitar, and William Choi, cello. Thank you to William and Leah Schallert for hosting this workshop  in their lovely home.

JCMSSA CONCERT
Our first JCMSSA Concert of the season will take place December 27th at 3:30 p.m. at Vivante Senior Living (1640 Monrovia Ave, Costa Mesa, CA 92627). This concert is open to both Orange County and Los Angeles Branches. Solo and chamber performances are welcome! JCM FACULTY CONCERT
Join us on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. for a collaborative concert bringing together renowned JCM coaches and performers from around Los Angeles and Orange counties to share a variety of chamber works.
Performers include:

COACHES IN CONCERT
Moments in Music, founded by Rufus Choi, will hold its Inaugural Gala Concert on December 20th - 7:00 p.m. at Thayer Hall at the Colburn School. For more information and tickets, click here.
Joyce Geeting will perform with her cello students at a Christmas concert on Sunday, December 21st - 4:00 p.m. at the Methodist Church, 1000 Janss Road in Thousand Oaks.
Dr. Lorna Griffit will perform with Haroutune Bedelian, Nicole Mitchell, and Claude Cymerman on Saturday, January 10th - 8:00 p.m. at Winifred Smith Hall at UCI. For concert information and tickets, click here.
