Healthcare Innovation Showcase at NEC Entrepreneur Day |
We had a great time at the Nashville Entrepreneur Center’s Entrepreneur Day! It’s always exciting to learn about new businesses and innovations emerging from Nashville and to meet the people driving them forward. This year was especially meaningful as the Life Science Foundation partnered with the Nashville Entrepreneur Center for the first-ever Project Healthcare Commercialization sub-cohort, led by Karrie Dudek. Through this partnership, ChromatoCare Innovations, EndoLimb Orthoplastic Solutions, NatureFound Biotech, Sensory Bridges, and VoluMetrix joined Project Healthcare and delivered impressive presentations during the Entrepreneur Day Healthcare Innovation Showcase.
Thank you to Launch Tennessee for supporting this program and helping advance healthcare innovation across Tennessee.

Nissha Opens Doors of New Facility |
Nissha Medical Technologies officially opened its new Engineering & Innovation Center of Excellence at Vanderbilt University last month. The medical device company announced it would relocate its engineering operations in September 2025, creating 38 new jobs and investing $4.5 million through the project. As part of this, Nissha noted it will continue its collaboration with EndoTheia, an endoscopic designer and developer led by Vanderbilt faculty member Bob Webster, which first announced a capital and business partnership with NMT in 2023.
At a ribbon-cutting to mark the occasion, Vanderbilt University Chancellor Daniel Diermeier said: “By welcoming Nissha Medical Technologies directly onto Vanderbilt’s main campus — our first industry partner to be housed in this way — we are strengthening that connection in significant ways. We are creating the Nashville Innovation Center of Excellence, which is not just a building, but a thriving ecosystem that allows ideas to flourish and move from a whiteboard to a clinical trial with lightning speed.”
