Join the Gothic Knight baseball team for the final home game of the 2023 season as NJCU celebrates Senior Day and honor the accomplishments of an incredibly talented senior class. Prior to the game against Saint Elizabeth, there will be a senior day ceremony. This game is a makeup from a postponement on May 1.

The art of our BFA graduates has been gradually developing over recent years and now culminates in a crescendo of creativity. Both the NJCU Visual Arts and Harold B. Lemmerman Galleries will showcase a diverse range of artworks, including clay sculptures and digital illustrations.

The theme of this year's event is "Masquerade Ball." Proof of vaccination or a negative test result is required for attendance. Tickets cost $20 each and are limited to two per student with a valid NJCU student ID.

Bus transportation is available for an additional $5. Students must be in the Gilligan Student Union lobby on the first floor by 5:30 p.m. in order to board the bus.

The LGBTQIA+ Support Group is open to queer and trans-identifying students who want to discuss personal and social issues in the community, gain support, and build relationships.

The support group will meet on Mondays from 3:30-5 p.m. and Wednesdays from 1-2:30 p.m. during the Spring 2023 semester.

The group will meet on Tuesdays from 4-5:30 p.m. The group is open to individuals directly or indirectly impacted by sexual assault, domestic violence, stalking, and harassment. All are welcome to attend.

Last October, the Department of Information Technology launched an Information Security Awareness Training program to raise awareness about current cybersecurity threats and best practices that can be used to apply safeguards against them. 

The next assignment will be the 2023 Common Threats awareness training, which will show you the latest ways that bad actors can target you by using social engineering techniques, while also providing insight on defensive strategies. This training takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. 

You’ll receive an email notification from the Department of Information Technology with the email ITSecurity@njcu.edu. This will contain instructions on how to access the training.

At NJCU, Commencement provides our students an opportunity to celebrate their academic achievements with family, friends, faculty, alumni, and the entire University community. NJCU’s 2023 Commencement will be held at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., on Tuesday, May 30, 2023.  

The NJCU Board of Trustees will hold a regular public meeting on Monday, June 26, 2023. The public session portion of the meeting is expected to begin at 5 p.m.

The NJCU Multi-Style Strings Summer Symposium offers a unique opportunity to explore multi-style string repertoire, nontraditional techniques, different approaches to improvisation, and incorporating technology under the guidance of some of the world's leading multi-style string virtuosos and educators.
