A Conversation About Anti-Black Racism
and Raising Anti-Racist Children

Hillmount Public School and Trustee James Li invite you to join a Conversation About Anti-Black Racism and Raising Anti-Racist Children presented by Michelle Munroe, Central Coordinator, Parent and Community Engagement Office with the Toronto District School Board. A Social Work Practitioner (MSW), Michelle has worked in the field of public education and public service for over 20 years delivering anti-oppressive, anti-bias and anti-Black family and community engagement.
The session will provide the following:
- An overview of the importance of having conversations about race and anti-black racism with our children
- Tools on how to have the conversations
- Tips and strategies for raising anti-racist children
Presentation to be followed by a Q and A session.
The video conference platform will be Zoom. Registration is required.
