Jeff Silvertooth

Message from the Associate Dean and Extension Director

An organizational “Engagement Survey” went out to all employees in the Division of Agriculture, Life and Veterinary Sciences and Cooperative Extension (ALVSCE) in September.   The TalentKeepers, an external independent company, administered the survey and they have conducted the basic analysis of the resultant data.

A preliminary review of the survey results, presented at an ALVSCE Executive Council meeting yesterday afternoon, demonstrates a good level of participation among ALVSCE employees.  The information from this survey provides an opportunity to conduct an extensive analysis of the entire ALVSCE organization in terms of employee engagement.

Following further analysis, we will provide these results for open review.  We will also follow-up with the recommendations in an effort to help us improve on the various aspects of the organization addressed in the survey.  In the case of the Cooperative Extension System, we can draw upon the data that is directly related to our organization for our direct benefit.

We very much appreciate the time and effort that people have contributed to this survey.
