Two of our own are being recognized at The Arc Maryland's Annual Awards on June 9 at 5:30 pm. Ed Stewart will receive The Outstanding Employee of the Year: Gilbert John Zucchi Direct Support Professional Award for our chapter. Stephanie Katz, our Board President, will receive the Chapter Volunteer of the Year Award.

All Maryland Residents 16+ Eligible for Vaccination
All Maryland residents 16+ are now eligible to get vaccinated at all vaccination locations. You may pre-register for an appointment with the State and the County, and you’ll be invited when there is a slot for you, or you can seek an appointment at a pharmacy.

Ride On, Mask UpWe are happy to see MCDOT services returning, but while things return to normal remember that all passengers are required to wear face coverings at all times on public transportation. Six MoCo Public Libraries Reopening
Phase 1 of MCPL's reopening to the public will involve opening six branch locations on June 1, 2021, using an appointment system. These branches were selected for a combination of their physical size and regional distribution throughout Montgomery County. These libraries are Gaithersburg, Connie Morella (Bethesda), Rockville, Silver Spring, Olney, and Marilyn Praisner (Burtonsville). Click here for more information.
