April Student Spotlight: Christina Pagoulato
Why did you choose Loyola Online?
"After exploring the vast program offerings and knowing that they are all fully accredited made my decision to choose Loyola Online very easy. My brother and uncle also graduated from Loyola New Orleans, and I know first-hand what an amazing education they received while attending and the wealth of opportunities it has afforded them. Being that my concentration is in Religious Studies, the icing on the cake is that Loyola is rooted in Jesuit Education."
What do you hope to do with what you've learned from Loyola Online?
"I’ve learned so much from Loyola Online that I feel like the possibilities for me are really endless. Loyola has not only afforded me the opportunity to gain my bachelor’s degree, but I have also learned so much about myself. The platform Loyola operates from is very much so a holistic approach. Not only have I gained content knowledge, but I have also been able to understand more about my specific learning style and what motivates me as well as those around me. I am currently exploring the online graduate programs that Loyola has to offer and would like to work towards potentially teaching on a high school or collegiate level in the future. I have already seen immediate impacts from what I have learned. I hope to be able to take the knowledge and different skill sets that I have learned from being a part of this program and make a difference in my current field of Human Resources, too."
Each issue we will feature an online student or faculty/staff member who embodies the Ignatian ideals of faith, truth, justice, and service in our online community. If you'd like to nominate someone, please contact ssconlinega@loyno.edu to share who and why you think deserves to be in the spotlight.
