Middle States Reaffirmation Update: Progress and Town Hall Videos
To Our Stony Brook Community:
On behalf of the Middle States Accreditation Reaffirmation team, we hope you enjoyed Commencement and the end of the spring semester.
Over these past several months, our Working Groups of faculty, staff and students have made excellent progress drafting the chapters of our Self-Study Report. We also hosted a series of guided discussions to present our preliminary evidence of compliance with Middle States standards. We profoundly thank everyone who attended these discussions and contributed their valuable feedback. Videos of each presentation are now available on our Reaffirmation website. We invite you to view the videos and submit your own questions and insights via our email, middlestates@stonybrook.edu.
Moving forward, we’ll be working throughout the summer to finalize the draft chapters, then present these to you in September. We’ll also host presentations throughout the fall semester to ensure the entire SBU community has a voice in the final report.
