Winter SES response rates reached 57 percentthe highest in over five years—thanks to coordinated efforts across the Senate’s Continuous Improvement and Evaluation of Teaching Committee, the Registrar’s Office, the Office of the Provost, and academic leadership. Stronger participation means more robust feedback for faculty.
As we look forward to the spring SES opening May 27, instructors are encouraged to add custom SES questions. Along with instructions on how to do this, you’ll find sample questions related to students’ experiences with AI in your course. Many colleagues are actively revising policies and assignments with AI in mind and may want student feedback. Only you can access the feedback on questions you add.

Three runners broke world records at last month's London Marathon. All three were wearing Adidas’ Adizero Adios Pro Evo 3, shoes designed specifically for running marathons. The shoes’ apparent success is the latest shot fired in a long-simmering war among athletic wear companies to design footwear to help people move faster on long-distance runs. While “it’s gotta be the shoes” was once used as a tongue-in-cheek tagline for Air Jordans, there’s quite a bit of truth to that sentiment when it comes to marathoning, says Brad Wilkins, director of the University of Oregon’s Performance Research Laboratory

Find more advice on helping students navigate enrollment decisions on TEP’s Talking with Students about Advising page
