CAMPUS EATS
Food is a big part of what we do here at UNT. Our award-winning Dining Services is celebrated for its exceptional food, including five diverse dining halls such as the vegan Mean Greens Café and allergen-free Kitchen West.
A popular spot among students is The Market by Clark Bakery, known for its handcrafted drinks, treats and delicious to-go meals. With seasonal and holiday-inspired menus across all dining halls, there’s always something new to try!

CATCH A RIDE ON CAMPUS
UNT and Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA) continue their partnership to offer free campus shuttle services for students. This year, the shuttle system includes 15 routes covering campus, off-campus housing, and local businesses and attractions. Increased bus frequency and additional stops are now available on routes 3, 6 and 7. For real-time bus tracking, download the Transit app. Buses run into the evening, with schedules varying by route.
The e-ride program provides free rides between 7 p.m. and 2 a.m. If you need a ride between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m., UNT provides a free Lyft ride program for on-campus travel.

UPCOMING CLOSURES
We know campus construction is a bit tricky right now, and we want to keep you in the loop about some upcoming closures to help you navigate more smoothly:
- Highland Street Garage entrances will be closed on Friday, Aug. 23, for paving work. If you have an HSG permit, you may park in Eagle lots during this time.
- Avenue B is temporarily one-way going south to prevent drivers from turning into Maple Street's one-way traffic. If you park in Resident Reserved Lot 23, visit the Construction Overview page and expand “Avenue C, along Maple Street” for directions and to see a map image of the area.
If you’re having trouble finding parking and have an Eagle permit, don’t forget you can always park in Lot 20 and catch the Academic Circulator bus. It runs every 10 minutes between Lot 20 and the Hurley Administration Building area.
