Hire and Pay Action Deadlines
  • October and November hire and pay documents are past due.
  • Winter term renewal RTOs are due November 1.
  • Other December appointment and pay actions are due November 15.
Make sure you allow plenty of time to generate the documents and obtain all required approvals. These deadlines help University HR get documents to the Payroll office for timely pay.
You can always find our deadlines on the HR Operations website
Be up front with your employees whose pay may be delayed. Communicating early will help manage expectations for payday.

Tip of the Month
How much are you really paying for your PEBB benefits?
Look at your earnings statement. The row that shows the net deduction (expense to you) is called "PEBB Employee Share Pre-Tax."*
The negative deduction called "PEBB Employer Contrib Pre-Tax" is the UO covering the other deductions for your share of the premiums for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
*If you opt out of benefits, you may not have this row or the number will be very small.
